Dr. Robert Lieberson
Dr. Robert Lieberson, MD, MHA, FACS, FAANS is a thirty-year veteran neurosurgeon.
Dr. Robert Lieberson studied computer science at Penn's Moore School. He worked as a computer scientist to pay for medical school.
Dr. Robert Lieberson completed seven years of neurosurgical training and one year as a spinal cord injury and research fellow at Stanford after medical school.
He then created one of Northern California's largest neurosurgery, spine, and pain practices. Dr. Robert Lieberson performed the first outpatient cervical disc surgery in Northern California and the West. In 2008, Dr. Robert Lieberson returned to Stanford as a Professor, teaching trauma, spine, and CyberKnife to new neurosurgeons.
He studied brain tumors at Stanford and published and presented on nearly 50 different topics in the US, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Robert Lieberson has been a locum tenens provider at institutions such as Howard University in Washington, DC, and UCSF's Alameda County Neurosurgery Division in Oakland, CA for numerous years. Dr. Lieberson returned to school in 2015.
He has an MBA from USC. He has since advised numerous start-up firms, state medical boards, attorneys general, and others on medical computer science applications and quality assurance challenges.
